Longmont Gatherings

When Alice Blackford Frantz became too ill to put together a reunion in Rocky Ford we were kind of lost. We didn't have a 40th Reunion.

Then a small group of RFHS grads from 1959 and also 1958 and 1960 who live in the Denver area decided to get together in Longmont for a 41st year gathering and celebration. Rudy Masias owns a Mexican food restaurant there called Deli Cioso, and he wanted to have the group meet in his restaurant in his Rock 'N Ford Bar. Rudy and Harry Harada and Judy Russell Spinney got organized to contact people. Judy Spinney contacted everyone she could find by mail or email, and the first get together took place in September 2000.

Since the food was great and the company certainly couldn't be beat, it was decided to keep having a gathering in Longmont in September every year for a while. It will be the second weekend in September. Make your plans!

As word spreads about this event, it has become more a Rocky Ford reunion, with grads from any year attending. All RFHS is welcomed.
