Teaching
I did teach basic Web Design courses, Dreamweaver courses, CSS courses, teacher technology certification courses and other classes of that nature. One of my projects in connection with teaching is the web log Web Teacher, where I have written book reviews, tips, and collected links and information about almost every topic a college Web design instructor is required to teach.
These days, most of my teaching efforts are in print.
Teaching in Print
My most ambitions teaching projects of late are Integrated HTML and CSS: A Smarter, Faster Way to Learn and Mastering Integrated HTML and CSS.
My Write! books teach writing and cooperative learning.
Teacher's and Student's Editions
I've written the Student Edition (and associated Teacher's Edition) for two popular books published by Peachpit Press. The Student edition has exercises and questions for each chapter, the Teacher's Edition has the answers and more. The two books are:
- HTML for the World Wide Web with XHTML and CSS, by Elizabeth Castro
- Macromedia Dreamweaver MX for Windows and Macintosh, by J. Tarin Towers
- The Essentials for Design series from Prentice Hall includes Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 Comprehensive by Sharon Lettvin Neville, for which I wrote supplemental material.
Contributing Writer
I helped authors Tom Negrino and Dori Smith with Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 for Windows and Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide (Visual Quickstart Guides).
I contributed some new lessons and revised some of the previous lessons for Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Classroom in a Book.
Tech Editor
I've served as technical editor on the following books:
- Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 How-Tos: 100 Essential Techniques (How-Tos)
by David Karlins
- Bulletproof Web Design: Improving flexibility and protecting against worst-case scenarios with XHTML and CSS (2nd Edition)
by Dan Cedarholm
- Stylin' with CSS: A Designer's Guide (2nd Edition) (Voices That Matter)
by Charles Wyke-Smith.
